Udacity is a platform for online courses. They offer a course, called a Nanodegree, which aims to boil down the essentials of a full degree into a shorter, more intensive course.
This is a full scholarship for selected Nigerian women to complete any Nanodegree of their choosing within a 6-month time period.

- π©πΎβπΌ Women. This is a scholarship strictly for individuals that identify as women.
- π³π¬ Living in Nigeria. Applicants should be currently living in Nigeria.
- π£ Good English and at least secondary school education. All the Udacity courses are taught in English, and the short time frame of the scholarship isnβt enough time to also be learning English.
- π©πΎβπ» Some amount of experience in the field. Besides the Intro to Programming Nanodegree, the other Nanodegrees have some prerequisite for knowledge of programming. Applicants should look at the page for their Nanodegree of choice to make sure they fulfil the requirements.
- π A great desire/interest in the field. This is hard to determine, but we try to infer this by seeing if the candidate has already played around with the field before. E.g. if they want to do the Android Developer Nanodegree, have they ever attempted to build an Android app?
